First off, take a look at my last journal. I described what Valkyria Chronicles is about, what kind of game it is, and how the story revolves around girls unhumanly strong. Plus, I added two youtube videos which let you see the actually "hot" scenes.
But that's not enough. Developers of Valkyria Chronicles were not satisfied creating a plot based on strong women, they put women's strenght all over the game.
You have to know that the squad you give orders to is made of a lot of members that don't actually take role in the plot. However, they have a dedicated page regarding their biography which you can unlock after you have cleared the game one time. This picture is a screenshot from 4 bios I took as examples. As you can see, they're not something you always read in mainstream games. Of course the girls involved have not "actual" muscles but, hey, they had to sell this game...
Now that she's dead, I guess I can never get her back in more playthroughs. I didn't know Audrey was a strong woman too. I wouldn't quite count Jane, but three strong women in one game (And then Alicia and Selvaria too), that's great!
Well, if you wish to get all the medals you have to complete the game twice. So, if you let Nina die in the first playthrough, you can keep her safe in the second one
>three strong women in one game (And then Alicia and Selvaria too), that's great! Yeah! Actually, because of the bios above, I really think that the developers team has a bit of our fetish... I mean, what the hell, "Princess of the Muscle World"?! XD
That makes Welkies more loveable! And he's more goofy than dumb, which is perfect for him. And if they stay true to the game, then we'll see Welkin show his violent side later on. You know what I'm talking about.
And I love how they had the original soundtrack and watercolor style. (I dont understand why the main complaint is the shadows, I didn't even notice it until my friend pointed it out to me.)
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

But it's awesome how they kept the original drawing style and the original soundtrack.
